Tina Renee Parrott

Tina Renee Parrott passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on December 19th, 2025, at the age of 63. She spent most of her life living in Sandy Point on the Finkbonner homestead that held deep meaning for her. The family home, built by her stepfather (Norman Teeter), became a gathering place and a refuge over the years - providing shelter, connection, and memories for many loved ones. Tina cherished being near the beach, finding comfort and peace in the closeness of the water and the place she called home. Tina was born on May 23rd, 1962, in Bellingham, Washington, to Theresa Myrtle Teeter (née Finkbonner) and Arthur Dee Parrott. She lived a life shaped by strength, compassion, and deep bonds. She had a remarkable ability to recognize the unique qualities in others and make people feel truly seen and valued for who they are. Her presence was grounding, her words encouraging, and her care sincere. Tina loved her children and grandchildren fiercely, wanting nothing more than for them to be happy, safe, and loved. She consistently put others before herself, offering support, understanding, and kindness without hesitation. Throughout her life, she touched and influenced countless people, young and old alike, leaving a lasting impact that will be felt for generations. She loved her Cruisin’ Coffee drinks, visiting with friends and family, and was known to spend hours perusing around any store she went shopping at. Tina was preceded in death by her grandparents, Frederick Charles Finkbonner and Velma Laura Finkbonner (née Harnden); her parents, Theresa and Arthur; her brother, Tony Dee Parrott; her niece, Amanda Carol Parrott; and her beloved daughter, Laticia Angel Parrott. She is survived by: her sisters - Cindy Hernandez, Connie Montenegro (Steven Warren), Debbie Marois, and Jodie Owsley (Ken Owsley); daughters - Danica Parrott and Tayla Parrott; as well as her cherished grandchildren - Anna Eichorn, Elijah Parrott, Jeremiah Parrott, and Aurora Parrott. Additionally, she is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. A prayer service will be held on Friday, December 26th, 6:00 pm at the Wex’liem Community Building on the Lummi Reservation, with a funeral service being held Saturday, December 27th, 10:00 am also at Wex’liem. Ken Owsley will be officiating both services. A procession will follow the funeral service to Moles Farewell Tributes & Crematory – Greenacres in Ferndale, WA, before returning to Wex’liem to share a meal.
