ENGLISH: With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Maria Dolores (Lola) Hernandez Nuñez, who was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 30th, 2026. Lola was a hardworking and strong woman whose life was defined by faith, resilience, and unconditional love for her family. She loved music and singing along to her favorite songs, and she found comfort in watching her novelas. With a unique spirit and her own outlook on life, she embraced who she was unapologetically. She was a devoted mother, she led with strength, compassion, and quiet sacrifice. Her deep devotion to God guided her life and gave her strength through every season. She shared 49 years of marriage with her husband. Her greatest joy was her family. She was a proud grandmother to 12 grandchildren and a cherished great-grandmother to four great-granddaughters, all of whom she loved deeply. She is survived by her husband, her children, her grandchildren, great-granddaughters, and many loved ones who will forever hold her memory in their hearts. A service and celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 9th, 2026, at 6pm at Iglesia Hispana de Lynden, 1907 Front Street, Lynden, WA 98264. Forever loved. Forever remembered. Rest in peace. SPANISH: Con profundo amor y gran tristeza, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Maria Dolores (Lola) Hernandez Nuñez, quien fue llamada a la casa del Señor el lunes 30 de marzo de 2026. Lola fue una mujer trabajadora y fuerte. Su vida fue definida y guiada por su fe, su resiliencia y el amor incondicional por su familia. Disfrutaba mucho la música y le encantaba cantar sus canciones favoritas a voz alta, así como pasar momentos tranquilos viendo sus novelas. Con un espíritu único y una manera muy propia de ver la vida, siempre fue auténtica y fiel a sí misma sin reservas. Fue una madre devota, que guió a su familia con fortaleza, cariño y sacrificio silencioso. Su profunda fe en Dios fue el pilar de su vida y la sostuvo en cada etapa de su camino. Compartió 49 años de matrimonio con su esposo. Su mayor orgullo y alegría fueron sus hijos y su familia. Fue una abuela amorosa de 12 nietos y una querida bisabuela de cuatro bisnietas, a quienes amó con todo su corazón. Le sobreviven su esposo, sus hijos, sus nietos, sus bisnietas y muchos familiares y amigos que conservarán su recuerdo con amor eterno en sus corazones. Se llevará a cabo un servicio y celebración de vida el jueves 9 de abril,2026 a las 6pm en la Iglesia Hispana de Lynden, 1907 Front Street, Lynden, WA 98264. Por siempre amada. Por siempre recordada.
