Obituary
William “Jim” James Bunton, age 73, of Bellingham, WA, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016 at the family home.
“Jim”, is survived by his wife of 48 years, Shirley Ann (Williams) Bunton; children: Julia “Denise” Tilley (Sean), William “James” Bunton Jr. (Jen) of California; Wildena “Dena” Bunton (Ray), Robert Bunton Sr. (Lisa), Audrey Bunton, and David Bunton (Toni) of Bellingham; grandchildren: Alicia Baron; Jody Ferreira; Sienna Tilley; Prince “Nick” Bunton; Zachariah Bunton; Cavanaugh Bunton; Samaraah Bunton Solomon; Felix Jefferson; Robert Bunton Jr.; Jack Cagey; Jonathan Smith; Trisha Smith; Dawn Bunton and Jack Jack Cagey; great-grandchildren: Todd William Bunton; Danielle Avina; Aneissa Avina and Colby Avina; and numerous nieces and nephews.
“Jim” is preceded in death by his parents; father, James Bunton; mother, Geneva Hancock; and Aunt Adele Hancock.
A public visitation will occur on Monday, January 2, 2017, from 2pm-6pm at Moles in downtown Ferndale, WA.

To the Bunton Family my heart is with you on the passing of Jim,He was a very good friend and family man.I’m sorry I was in the hospital my self and didn’t hear until Friday.I have known jim for over 20yrs,worked with him and have never met a nicer person,man and Warrior.I will never forget him.

Prayers and BIG Hugs for my family, Although I rarely saw him & Shirley, when I did, those times were very special, I will cherish them forever, To My LIL cousins, I’ll send a Lil California Sunshine your way. So sorry for your loss he will be missed. WHAT A GREAT MAN!!!!!!!
