Obituary

William was born in Bellingham, WA to Robert and Ellen (Baker) Miller on September 5, 1926. After high school graduation Bill enlisted in the U.S. Navy and proudly served for three years. In July of 1953 he was married to the love of his life, Gloria Tozier and they raised three children together at their Bellingham home. He worked for GP as a Lead Electrician. Bill loved gardening, golfing, dancing, hunting, woodworking, traveling, but, more than anything, he cherished time spent with family. A talented crabber and boater, Bill was a crew member of the Happy Crab. He also enjoyed playing Canasta and any game involving a deck of cards. He was sweet, patient, devoted, and was always willing to jump in and help anyone who needed a hand. He lived 94 beautiful years and said, “It went too fast!”.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 68 years, Gloria; daughters, Carolyn (Darrell) Olberg and Joyce (Julius) Goldman; son, Alan Miller; grandchildren, Amy (Mark) Shintaffer, Billy Olberg, Holly (Mike) Young, Lisa (Rick) White, Gloria Goldman, Margaret Goldman, Jennifer Miller, and Karley Miller; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
