Obituary

William “Bill” Corning, born 1923, passed away peacefully September 5, 2015. He was 91 years young.
After graduating High School in Pt. Angeles, WA he moved as a young man to join his brothers in logging in Whatcom County.
He loved logging and was involved in the Deming Log Show, where he served as President and was honored to be “Bull of the Woods.” After he retired he took up gardening and grew dahlias, his favorite flower. He was always happy working and seeing his family members and many friends.
He is survived by his son and daughter, four stepchildren, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will always be remembered by all who knew him.
He will be memorialized with a gathering at the Deming Log Show on Sunday, September 27th at Noon.
