Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William Alexander Robertson, who left us peacefully at the age of 73. William, known for his quick wit, humor, and infectious kindness, was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
William was born on October 5th, 1951, and grew up with a love for life and a passion for family. He married his beloved wife, Janet Catherine Fuhr, on August 25th, 1973, in Vancouver, BC. Their 50+ years together were filled with love, laughter, and beautiful memories. William’s favorite moments were spent with Janet, whether they were visiting Kahana Sunset in Maui, enjoying the sunny days in Palm Springs, or simply sitting together on their patio in Sandy Point, WA.
A talented athlete, William, earned a full-ride scholarship in swimming to the University of Alabama, where he majored in business. He went on to have a successful career as a lumber broker, working with many companies in Vancouver, BC. Throughout his life, William’s nature and infectious humor made him a beloved figure in every community he was a part of.
He will be remembered for his loving nature, always bringing flowers to brighten his wife’s day and showing kindness to everyone he met. His soft brown eyes and gentle soul will be missed by all who knew him. William loved his family deeply and leaves behind his daughter Kimberly Ann Clendenin, sons Blake Alexander Robertson and Mark William Robertson, four grandchildren, three nieces, and three nephews.
In addition to his family, he is survived by countless friends and loved ones who were touched by his warm spirit and good-hearted humor. William’s legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew him.
Rest in peace, William. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Alex I will love you forever! I miss you already! You were the love of my life and I am grateful we met on that blind date in Alabama. You were the most kind man and loving man with the soft brown eyes. Until we meet again! Your loving wife Jan.

Jan and family,
I’m so sorry for this huge loss. What a kick it’s been to be a friend and neighbor all these years. From listening to baseball games outside in the summer, huge beach fires, and great Super Bowl parties with Bill preparing his famous barbecued prime rib. We created some great memories. My heart aches for you all, and we are here for you Jan, for anything you need.
Love you,
Trish and Mike Brown
