I started going to Dr A in the early 1950’s. I so loved the name of his daughter, Jana, I asked him if he would mind if I named my girl Jana. He replied, not at all, I would be honored. That is just the cool man he was. R.I.P. till we meet again. :)

  2. Wayne Austin was a caring doctor, and a man of faith. He had a love for nature and was so kind to the children in our family. We have fond memories of biking, swimming, family Olympics. and other family gatherings. He was a generous supporter of the church and christian education. I know this time of rest will seem like only a moment. He will see Jesus coming and will enjoy all that the Lord has prepared for us. I look forward to that glorious day.

  3. Dear Ann and Family, My heart is breaking. Dr. Austin was one of a kind, the best PCP ever. The epitome of a great man, kind soul. He took care of my health for many years. He was my sons Doctor, calling him ‘the boy with the golden hair” He will be missed by many.

For a doctor and a friend who will always be missed. To Anne – I hope your memories of Wayne will give you peace in the days to come.

  5. Wayne loved the Lord and people. When Shari and I were a poor college couple, he was so generous in helping us with office visits. He would say, “I think I have some free meds back here.” He took care of so many people over the years. Our love goes out to Ann, a very special person. Ann, you and your husband have been such a blessing to so many people. Wayne’s love for the Lord was demonstrated in so many ways.
