Obituary
Our beloved mother, Wanda L. Yoakum, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, January 12, 2013. She was 84. Wanda was born July 18, 1928 in Boonville, Indiana. She married John Yoakum on December 6, 1947 in Hopkinsville, KY.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband John and her son Steven.
She is survived by her sons Kenneth and his wife Candi of Marysville and Roger and his wife Cheryl of Lynden; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to Whatcom Hospice, 2901 Squalicum Pkwy, Bellingham, WA 98225 or Full Life, 2931 Rucker Avenue Everett, WA 98201.
At her request, there will be no services.

Please accept my sympathy to the loving Sons,Family & Friends in the painful loss of your dearly loved Wanda. Hopefully you will be comforted by the following Bible Verses: Isaiah25:8 “HE WILL ACTUALLY SWALLOW UP DEATH FOREVER,AND THE SOVEREIGN LORD JEHOVAH WILL CERTAINLY WIPE THE TEARS FROM ALL FACES”

My condolences to Wanda’s family and friends. I hope you can draw comfort from what’s written in the Bible at Revelation 21:4 where it says “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away”. I am sorry for your loss.
