Obituary

Vicki Ann Nesbitt, of Bellingham, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at the age of 67. She was born June 20, 1945 to Victor and Marjorie (Pierce) Ladiser in Bellingham, WA. Vicki graduated from Sonoma High School in 1963. She met the one man for her, David Nesbitt, and they married on June 22, 1965. Though they only had one child, Christi, she was fond of saying, God only gives as much as you can handle, and ones enough. She welcomed her son-in-law, Bill Joyce, to the family with open arms, and went on to become the proud and loving grandmother of Benjamin and Jacob Joyce.

Vicki is survived by her loving husband David; daughter Christi (Bill) Joyce; grandsons Benjamin D. and Jacob R Joyce; sisters Janet Ladiser, Mary Anthony and Barbara Schumacher; sister-in-law Jeanette Beck and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Farewell Tribute Information

Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 12th at Bayview Cemetery, followed by a gathering of friends and family at the Salvation Army on Northwest Ave. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or the Sumas Community Clothesline, a local ministry of the Sumas Advent Christian Church.
