  1. Mary & Family . . . Mickey, Cheryl, Carol Andrea & family, Richard & David . . My Feelings, Sympathy, Love & Prayers are with you . . each one, and as family as a whole. I don’t know how say how shocked I am to come across this (?) Just now saw it this evening . . for I been mostly “gone” from Little Bear . . since my other property sold & we were out looking for a new place. I don’t know if he (Verne), was absent at that time or not. I thought I saw him walking down the porch-way and nodding & greeting us as he left . . but would soon be back. Love you, each & every one . . . Loved you Mary & Verne . . ever since I can remember, as a young girl. Always looked up to & admired you two. You’re all wonderful & beautiful & lovely people . . w/ great gifts & blessings. Marjorie James

So sorry to hear about Verne. We will miss his smile and friendly greetings at LBC during mealtimes.

  3. Just found out about his passing.
Thank you to the entire family who gave me shelter from my storms in my teens

I’ve never forgotten about the period of time I felt safe and learned from Verne and his, that not all homes were like mine .

    Thank you and peaceful rest
    .
