Obituary
Thomas S. Odell of Bellingham, WA died peacefully in his sleep of natural causes just days before his 52nd birthday.
He is survived by his mother, Sue Odell, his father, John C. Odell, three brothers, Jeff, Tim, and Jason, and eight nieces and nephews—Cecelia, Camille, Sophie, Anabelle, Asher, Shepherd, Tad, and Bennett.
Tom was born November 28, 1964 in New York; he grew up mostly in Houston; and he lived and worked in Washington’s Methow Valley for sixteen years.
Trained as an architect, Tom built an eclectic career that explored unconventional building methods, public space design, and sculpture, drawing, and painting.

Tom was a gentleman. I knew Tom when he lived in the Bay Area and we kept in touch when he was moving around the Pacific Northwest. He was a fellow professional and always a pleasure to be around and to share company with. He is missed.-sm

. Even though we hadn’t seen each since graduation in the last few years we had reconnected through social media. He was still as joyful, irreverent and nice as always. I will miss him. Tom, you are in our hearts and in our prayers. Rest in Peace my friend.
