Obituary

Therese E. Sixto went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, February 2, 2013. She was 82 years old.

Therese was born in Leon Guanajuato, Mexico. She obtained her nursing education in Mexico where she was honored with the Presidential Nurse of the Year award. Therese came to Texas to get specialized anesthesia training. She eventually made Seattle her home and worked at Northwest and Providence Medical Centers. After 42 years as a surgical nurse she retired and moved to Lynden.

Therese was an avid gardener and adored Pierre her companion miniature Poodle. She made friends wherever she went. And if you knew her, you were probably added to her nightly prayer list.

Therese was dearly loved by her brother Pedro (Elena) Sixto; sister Josefina (Rodolfo) Velasco; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend and caregiver LeAna Osterman. She was predeceased by her parents and sister Antonia (Raul) Najera.

Farewell Tribute Information

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, February 8, 2013 at Sonlight Community Church. Donations Information

    To the loving Family and Friends I offer my sympathy in the very painful loss of your dear Therese. Hopefully you will be comforted by the Bible Verses that follow: Rev21:4-5 “AND HE WILL WIPE OUT EVERY TEAR FROM THEIR EYES AND DEATH WILL BE NO MORE,THE FORMER THINGS HAVE PASSES AWAY”
