  1. I would like to express my sympathy to Terry’s family and friends. Losing a loved one in death is so difficult but it seems especially hard when they’re so young. I would like to share a message of hope from the Bible. In John 5:28,29 it gives the promise of a resurrection of those we’ve lost when it says, “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out”. So we have to opportunity to see those we’ve lost again but it will be under very different conditions that what we see in the world right now. Revelation 21:4 tells us what the world will be like at that time when it says “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away”. The Bible’s promises are guaranteed, unlike anything in this world we live in. I hope you can find some comfort and hope in these thoughts in the days to come. I am truly sorry for your loss.

Love hearing you laugh and you were so filled with joy and caring. Miss you at the FOT.

  3. My dear friend, I will miss your weekly emails.

  4. I hadn’t known Terry long, but thought we had more time to continue to get to know each other. While substituting for her last year she was always so helpful and cheerful with her communications. She made sure I new where the coffee was and who would be helpful to me. While sitting at her desks and supervising her labs I learned how helpful she was to staff and students and I enjoyed her happy family pictures she had on display. I was so sad to hear she lost this fight. My heart goes out to her family, friends and co-workers.

Bret and family: This world has lost one of the really good people. Now she rests. But this is not farewell to her. It is just goodbye for now for we will see her again some day in God’s Kingdom.
