Obituary
Sy Eubanks, born on October 14th, 1971, in Seattle, Washington, was the eldest child of Michael and Lora Eubanks. He departed this life in Bellingham, Washington on April 13th, 2024, in the comforting presence of his family.
Sy survived a fall, but tragically, he developed an inoperable brain bleed.
He was an alumnus of Mt. Baker High School, where he was a football player and earned the nickname “The Masked Mountie” in wrestling.
Sy had a deep affection for his family and a love for all creatures, especially his cherished dogs. His family circle expanded to include his friends at Avila care, where he was loved by everyone. A special note of gratitude is extended to Jayne.
He leaves behind his mother, Lora Eubanks of Acme, WA, his sister Michelle Standefer his brother-in-law Justin Standeer, his brother Case Eubank, and his sons Mason of Sultan, WA, and Lance Corporal Odin Eubanks of North Carolina. His Aunt Mary of Big Lake, Alaska, and his nieces and nephews Alexis, Colton, Sophia, Kylie, Kaleb, and Jalen also survive him.
Sy was preceded in death by his father, Michael “Coyote” Eubanks, and his first cousin, Joshua Oberg of Big Lake, AK.
A heartfelt thanks is extended to ICU nurse Silas, whose compassionate care made Sy’s transition more bearable.

I have many memories of Sy and the Scout. It’s too bad it takes things like this to bring them forward. I’m so sorry for your (and everyone who knew him’s) loss.
