Obituary

Stillman “Tai” Mostovoy
July 27, 1938-September 16, 2012
Tai entered into the arms of His Messiah on Rosh Hashanah, a day he would have chosen if he could. He was a beloved Pastor, Teacher, Counselor and friend to many here and abroad. He was always looking for ways to tell others of the love of Christ that he found as a young Jewish man. He was an actor in his youth, a man of many talents with a brilliant mind.
He and his wife, Joy, served faithfully together right up until the night he was called Home. He will be greatly missed, and always remembered for his wit, sense of fun, and deep commitment to the truth of the whole Bible. He is survived by his beloved wife Joy, and her family, his sister Paula Geigerman (Michael) and his dear nephew Danny. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM, Sept. 19th, at Word of His Grace Church in Bothell, WA.
Shalom, Beloved husband, brother, uncle, and friend.

  1. Dearest Joy, Our truly heartfelt wishes to you at this difficult time. He is of course at peace, but will never be forgotten. He touched so many lives during his time here in so many wonderful ways. He was a truly unique and gifted soul. I am so grateful

  2. Tai holds a special place in my heart. A sweet man with an encouraging heart and the best “father” hugs around! I look forward to getting one of the hugs again when I see him in heaven.
Joy, my prayers are with you, dear sister. May feel the Lord holding you close to His breast in this season.

    Lee also sends his love.

  3. Wow, what a gift to the body of Christ, what a brother and a friend. We loved Tai’s visits to Stoke, time spent together with Joy and our family. He leaves a huge gap in our lives but many treasured mamories, not least the wonderful sung blessing which still rings in our ears.. Shalom Tai and Joy. We love you very much
