Obituary

Stillman “Tai” Mostovoy
July 27, 1938-September 16, 2012
Tai entered into the arms of His Messiah on Rosh Hashanah, a day he would have chosen if he could. He was a beloved Pastor, Teacher, Counselor and friend to many here and abroad. He was always looking for ways to tell others of the love of Christ that he found as a young Jewish man. He was an actor in his youth, a man of many talents with a brilliant mind.
He and his wife, Joy, served faithfully together right up until the night he was called Home. He will be greatly missed, and always remembered for his wit, sense of fun, and deep commitment to the truth of the whole Bible. He is survived by his beloved wife Joy, and her family, his sister Paula Geigerman (Michael) and his dear nephew Danny. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM, Sept. 19th, at Word of His Grace Church in Bothell, WA.
Shalom, Beloved husband, brother, uncle, and friend.

I attended the bible studies that Tai conducted in the basement of the Vehrs household in Edmonds, Wa in the early 70s. I made a lot of lifelong friends there. He was a warm leader, and grew to be a close friend of mine. Thanks for all your help and support Tai, I will always love you for it. I tried to find you a few years ago, but couldn’t. I so wish I could have seen you another time…

  3. You taught, you inspired. You will be so missed. My deepest condolences to Joy.
