Aunt Shirley was a wonderfully kind and straightforward woman who I will always admire for her earnest cheerfulness and calm good nature. I’m so sorry that she had to go, but am comforted by the peace and loved ones who surely surround her in heaven. Much love to you, Katy. <3

I would like to express my sympathy to Shirley’s family and friends. I hope you can find comfort and hope in the promise in Revelation 21:4 where it says “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away”. I am truly sorry for your loss.

When I think of Shirley I remember a kind, godly, quiet (yet fun) woman. I remember the times she came to Troy and stayed with her sister Virginia. It was always a blessing to visit with her. My love to you, Jenny, Loveta and Jon. You truly had a wonderful mother. What a Blessing!
