Obituary
Shirley Dunn, 87, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Feb. 18, 2013. Shirley was preceded in death by her son, Thomas, and siblings, Virginia, Arlene & Skip. She will be greatly missed by her children; Jonathan (Susan) Dunn, Jenneth (Kim) Hurlbut & Loveta (Brian) Cochran; grandchildren Jeff (Helen) Dunn, Julie (Brian) Fuleky, Tami VanDiest, Rob (Aimee) VanDiest, Mandi (Matt) Kortus, Angela (Rich) Strotz, Josh (Dena) Dunn & Caleb Cochran and 14 great-grandchildren. .
Farewell Tribute Information
Services will be held on Wednesday, March 6th at 2:30 pm at Greenacres Memorial Park, 5700 Northwest Drive, Ferndale WA.

Aunt Shirley was always so happy to see anyone who came to visit. I enjoyed talking about “good reads” with her, and shared her delight in her “bird garden.” She was who she she was and made no pretense about being anything other. I guess that’s called being honest. Her smile of recognition and touch to my face the last time I saw her are a memory I will always treasure. Her family was the most important thing in her life. I’m thankful I was a part of that family. I mourn the loss of the last of her generation… we, and our children, are now the keepers of the family stories and history. My prayers have been answered; Shirley has found peace.
My love to you Jon, Jenny, Loveta, and her precious grandchildren.
