Obituary

Sharon Ann Trull, age 76, of Everson, WA passed away on February 28, 2022.

Sharon was born in Bellingham, WA on March 9, 1945. Sharon graduated from Nooksack Valley High School and received her nursing degree from Everett General Hospital. She worked at St. Luke’s and St. Joseph’s hospital as head of the Operating Room nurses. She retired with her husband Roy and traveled for many years, making new friends, and having many adventures.

Roy passed away in 2018 and Sharon remained at the family home with her little black Schnauzer, Bud, until she moved closer to her kids in 2021. She lived at Merrill Gardens where she was loved by many and made many new friends.

Sharon enjoyed gardening, bird watching, puzzles and scrapbooking. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandkids. In her younger days, she was a talented seamstress and enjoyed counted cross stitch as well.

She is survived by her stepdaughters Kim (Eloy Longoria) Collins, Laura Hinds, and Lynn (Simon Barajas) de Leeuw, her sister Shirley Young, and nephews Matt Young and Nate Young, her grandchildren Nicholas Hinds and Jocelyn, Hannah and Claire de Leeuw, her in-laws Darrell and Jani Trull, Richard Trull, Dennis and Patsy Trull, and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Bud and Bessie Iverson, her brother-in-law Barry Young and her sisters-in-law Sharon K. Trull and Adalgisa Trull.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday March 12th at 11:00 a.m. at Greenacres Memorial Park (5700 Northwest Dr. Ferndale, WA), followed by a celebration of life at the American Legion Hall (5537 2nd Ave. Ferndale, WA).
