Obituary

In August of last year, Sasha was diagnosed with non-tobacco related small cell Lung Cancer caused by a genetic abnormality. She fought the disease fiercely and completed radiation and chemotherapy in November. The treatment plan also involved surgically removing the tumor in her right Lung. She unfortunately had very severe compilations and remained hospitalized for 9-1/2 weeks. Despite all of the medical professionals’ best efforts, she passed away peacefully on February 2nd. She leaves behind the love of her life Scott, her three beautiful daughters Tatum, Mica and Stella, her mother Marcine, her stepmother Joann, and countless friends she met along the way in her many activities and adventures. She is preceded in death by her father Micheal Pollock.

Her love for design and horses was unmatched, even winning the stall decorations award at the NWWF 3 consecutive years with two different riding clubs. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking people to consider donating to the Central Elementary PTO. All donations made in Sasha’s Memory will go towards the new playground she worked so tirelessly on. This project was very dear to Sasha’s heart, to the point of working on the design of it even during chemo and radiation treatment.

The date and venue of Sasha’s celebration of life will be announced at a later time.
