Obituary

Sandra L. Daniels, born July 2, 1944, passed away peacefully at home after an extended illness on the morning of October 5, 2016, with family by her side. Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Larry J. Daniels, son Ronald J. Daniels, and grandson Luke D. Johns. She is also survived by her siblings Dolores (Joe) Hanson, Virginia Lyne, Diane (John) Zimbra, Verden Boutwell, Judy Reed (Dave Simms), Shelly (Myles) Ballendine, and numerous nieces and nephews, including two special nieces – Terri and Sarah.

Sandra was preceded in death by her daughter Lori Ann Daniels, parents Verden and Adelle Boutwell, sister Marge Brown, in-laws R.M. and Alvina Daniels, Josephine Frierson, Michaeline Percich, Michael Daniels, Pat Daniels, and Dennis Daniels.
Sandra was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Sandra loved to travel, loved music, reading, cooking, entertaining, bowling, bridge, and particularly loved doing crossword puzzles.

After raising her two children, Sandra followed her love of travel by becoming a travel agent. She thrived for several years helping others travel the globe until her health kept her from working any longer. Sandra’s love, kindness, generosity, sense of humor, and smiling face will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched.

Sandra’s Celebration of Life will be held at 3:30 PM on October, 20, 2016 at the Bellingham Ferry Terminal. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bellingham/Whatcom County Hospice.
