Obituary
Ruthella Cyr was born January 22, 1918, to George and Christina Randrup (Hansen). She died January 16, 2013. She graduated from Fairhaven High School and married Floyd Cyr in 1936. Ruthella and Floyd lived in their home on Jersey Street, in a house built by her father, for over 60 years. She was pre-deceased by Floyd after 68 years of marriage. She was also pre-deceased by her three siblings, her son, Gary, and grandson, Jim. She is survived by her daughter, Nada, and her granddaughters, Cindy (Todd) and Laurie (Denis). She is also survived by four great granddaughters, six great-great grandsons, brother-in-law Lawrence Carr, sister-in-law Audrey Cyr, and numerous nieces and nephews. Ruthella worked as a secretary for The Department of Labor & Industries. She and Floyd enjoyed camping, square dancing, and playing cards. After retirement, they spent many winters in Apache Junction, AZ. At her request, there will be no funeral service. Her family suggest donation to Whatcom Hospice Foundation, 2901 Squalicum Parkway, Bellingham 98225. Her family wishes to thank all of the special angels who helped care for Ruthella in her final years.

I am so sorry for the loss of Ruthella.. She was such an amazing woman! I am so happy I had the chance to meet and work with her! I will never forget everyday I spent with her along with her beautiful smile, her pink lipstick, and her humorous personality! She is greatly missed! May Ruthella Rest In Peace and God Bless!
