Lynden

Our beloved mother passed away in the presence of family at Lynden Christian Health Care on Friday the 22nd of August.

Ruth was born July 30th 1932 to parents James and Hazel Hamilton of Bellingham. She had two brothers, Robert Hamilton and wife Beverly of Bellingham, and Jim Hamilton and wife Barbara of Moses Lake.

Mom was preceded in death by her parents in the mid 1970’s, and her loving husband Jack R. Leach Sr. in 1991.

She is survived by her three sons, Jack Leach Jr. and wife Olivia, Steve Leach of Bellingham, and Clarke Leach and wife Tina of Blaine.

Our mom was legally blind by the age of 7 years, and totally blind in her later years. This never slowed her down as her boys will attest, because she saw clearer than most when we were ” just being boys”.

Ruth had numerous nieces and nephews and was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, which she loved dearly. She loved family gatherings and taught all of us the importance of strong family values topped of with lots of love.

We ask our Lord and Savior to please ease our pain for the loss of a truly great Lady.

Farewell Tribute Information

A memorial service will be held at Moles – Greenacres at 5700 Northwest Drive, Ferndale WA. at 11am on Thursday the 28th of August. This will be followed by a graveside service.
