Obituary
Roy Willard Nicholas died on August 2, 2017. A native of Bellingham, Roy attended Bellingham High School. After serving his country in the U.S. Navy, Roy went on to become a professional locksmith. He was a member of Immanuel Bible Church in Bellingham.
Among his many interests, Roy enjoyed fishing, camping, and performing community service. He was a member of ALOA, and NWLA professional associations, and served as Convention Chair for Tri-Regional Locksmiths. He was also involved in Bellingham Central Lions Club, Masonic Lodge, VFW, and Boy Scouts of America.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Helga Nicholas. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Dolores; sons Richard (Kay), Bryan (Kim), Larry (Jessica); grandchildren Jacob, Josh, Rachael, Daniel, Rebecca, Nathan, Jessica Ann, Kelly, Sammuel, and Andrew; and 5 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on August 19 at Immanuel Bible Church at 1PM.
