Obituary
Rosalie W. Martin of Bellingham, WA passed away on November 23, 2015. She was 88, born in Blaine, WA on November 22, 1927, to Julina (Breidford) and William Bice. After graduating from Blaine High School in 1945 Rosalie was employed as a telephone operator for Pacific Northwest Bell in Bellingham. She met and married Eugene Martin of Bellingham in 1948. He preceded her in death in 2003.
She is survived by her sons Alan (Randi) Martin and Brian (Ann) Martin; grandchildren Jodi (Garett) Horgen, Angie Martin, Amy Martin, Austin Martin; great granddaughter Kyra Horgen; sisters Dolores (Jack) Clark, Marlene (John) Korenek, Lorelie (Dale) Jensen; four nephews.
She will be laid to rest at Greenacres Memorial Park in Ferndale.

Brian, Alan and families, I’m so very sorry your loss. I remember your Mom fondly. She was always so kind to me. I will never forget how she helped me in the past when right before moving I fell ill and she unpacked the house while I recuperated.She was truly a lovely person.

We are sad to read of Rosalie’s passing. She was a kind and lovely lady who lived next to us on Poplar Drive for a number of years. We often brought her “Rosalie” tulips from LaConner in the spring. We always exchanged Christmas cards, and are sad to take her off our list.
