  1. To Emma and your family. We want to send you our condolences from our family to yours, we are saddened to hear of Roque’s passing. May he rest in peace and his memory be eternal. It was always a pleasure to see him when you two would come in, Emma, and also when the whole family would get together to celebrate. May you find strength in your loving family to help you through this time. Take care.

Dear Emma,I found out from Keith Friday night about Roque.i am so sorry to hear this.he was a quiet person but I always knew that even though he was beginning to have health issues he was there very Sunday. I remember hearing him tell about the beans that needed picking and planned on picking when he got home but a certain grazing deer had beat you both to it.

To the rest of the family I know you will all miss your father and grandfather. Your family has played an important part in our church. Having lost both my parents I know there will be times that will be hard for all of you and my thoughts and prayers go to all of you.

    Love,
    Cheri

  3. Amy Cloud says:

Dear Emma, Daryl, Danny and Roem, please know that I am lifting you in prayer in this time of sorrow. Roque was such a lovely man, it was a privilege to know him. In his quiet way, he was influential. I always admired him – and you, Emma – for the choices you made to give your boys such great opportunity. My heart goes out to you all, Amy

  4. It was such a joy to work for Roque and Emma this past year. Roque really wasn’t sure at first about having someone come in and help him at all. Naturally, with a little time we both became comfortable and had some of the most interesting conversations about both his life, and mine. this mans presence in my life helped remind me to be gentle and humble and his words always encouraged and built up. He will be missed. And to Emma, thank you for showing Us all how to walk through a season such as this with unwaivering faith , love, acceptance and grace.
