Just a short note to let you all no that I am thinking about you. I left your family a few years ago but stayed in touch with Roland at the doctors office and enjoyed seeing him and Sharon. I know him and Dick are probably up there golfing or hunting or both.

I enjoyed Roland as a classmate and player on the Mt. Baker 1958 Championship State Basketball team. We have stayed friends though the years. Roland would stop at my house for a visit about classmates and local events. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

Thinking of you all during this time of loss. I have such special and fond memories growing up around Roland and you too Sharon. There were a time or two of spending Christmas Eve at Aunt Hazel and Uncle Leonard’s. Of course summer get togethers at the river. When we were little mom and dad would get together with your family. Us kids would have so much fun together. You were living in Bellingham. We loved having cousins to hang around with. But, I will never forget being a young adult and working at Cold Storage. Roland would buzz in on his forklift and check on me. I appreciated it. Roland loved his family as well as his extended family and always loved having a reason to play cards and have a good time! He always had a story and it got bigger every time he told it! Love to you all. Jo (Stone) and Bruce Huge
