Obituary
Roger was born in Pollack, SD to Richard and Hannah Nieuwendorp and passed away on January 5, 2021 in Bellingham, WA. In 1953, he was married to Gladys Talmage in Lynden, WA.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date to reminisce about the fun things he liked to do; camping, fishing, taking long car rides, and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Gladys; daughters, Susan (Kim) Stafford, Becky Theissen, Shari (Gary) Weg, and Linda (Bill) Harvey; son, Rodney (Lisa) Nieuwendorp; brother, Richard (Carol) Nieuwendorp; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

So sad to hear that Roger had passed away. You would be hard pressed to find a nicer person than Roger. I had the pleasure of working for him for a few years in the raspberry field. I just loved Roger and he will be greatly missed. My condolences to the family. RIP……..Bill (Weeb) Oppewall

So deeply sorry to hear about Roger passing ,Roger was a wonderful person,
I always looked forward in seeing him when he was driving his delivery van
and he would stop in to say hi and visit for a while, He will be deeply missed
so sorry Gladys my heart goes out to you and your family
