Kathy and family,I have lived in Olympia for the past 8 years, and have been totally out of the loop. Roger was someone who I deeply admired, mainly because of the way he treated people. He always supported the school, me, and all of my family, regardless of the trying times that happen in life.
If possible, I would love to come by and talk to any of you on any weekend. I feel terrible that I didn’t know that he was ill, and want to spend time talking about how special he was in other’s lives.
If it doesn’t work, I certainly understand.

  2. Roger, I am sorry to see you leave for heaven. You are a wonderful person and am proud to have known you for ten years or so. You were a terrific tutor for my golf game but more importantly just knowing you was something I will treasure forever. The farewell gathering was terrific and the military sendoff was heart warming and tender. I look back now at the great visits I had with you and admire you in every way a person can be admired. You will be in my heart and mind forever Roger, so be sure to greet me wherever we meet again!
I love you and miss you!
