Obituary

Roberta Irene Attane, born August 4, 1916, passed from this life into the gates of Heaven on August 28, 2016. She was greeted by those she loved that had gone before her and into the loving embrace of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. John 11:25 reminds us that Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me will live, even though they die.”

Roberta had many passions throughout her lifetime. She loved drafting, real estate, gardening, the beach, and hosting events with her church families, but nothing compared to her love for her family. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she loved being “Nana”.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 11:00am at the Greenacres Memorial Park, Ferndale, WA with a reception following at a family residence.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you take a moment to do something kind for someone that is living with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.

Please visit them, give them a hug, play or sing them a song they might recognize, hold their hand, reassure them they are safe, and remind them they are loved. You may also make a donation to your local Hospice Organization.
