Obituary
Bob was born on June 3rd, 1934, in Salem, Oregon. He passed on January 10th, 2024 in Josephine Caring Community in Stanwood, Washington.
During his youth, he spent his childhood growing up in Grays Harbor.
In 2003, Bob was inducted into the Wheatherwax High School Basketball Hall of Fame, in Aberdeen, Washington.
Bob also served two years in the Navy and worked 30 years at the Intalco plant in Ferndale, WA.
During Bob’s free time, he made clocks and many other fun wood art, spent time with his two granddaughters, enjoyed high school, college, and professional sports. He loved nature and birds, and most importantly loved being around his family.
Bob is now with his mother Helen Ruth Forbis and father Orie Martin Forbis.
He survived by his wife of 62 years Joyce A. Forbis, his two children, Sherry Forbis and Robert Shawn Forbis, and his two granddaughters, Stephanie Forbis and Alyssa L. Forbis.
