Obituary

 Robert L. Phair was a lifetime resident of the Lummi Nation. Growing up, he enjoyed family gatherings, playing softball with his family, and living life with a huge smile and joyous laugh. His children always recall him taking a cruise around the horn jamming out. As his mother enjoyed sitting with him at Portage.  His sisters remember him casino hopping where she would find him at “The Skag”.  When he was home his fur baby Heaven was not too far from his side. Robert’s final days were spent at home with his mother Ardellina and family who loved him dearly. As he peacefully entered heaven, he was happy, he lived a happy beautiful life as a fisherman and family man.

Robert is preceded in death by his father Robert Johnson; daughter Hazel Phair; grandparents William A. Phair Sr. and Rosemarie Phair (Washington); mother-in-law Linda Williams; father-in-law Donald Hubbard; aunt Yvonne Solomon; uncle William Phair Jr. and sister-in-law Julie Jefferson.

Survived by, his mother Ardellina (Dode) Johnson; his daughters Sarena and BreAuna Phair, whom he shared with Annie; step-son Dennis Phair; grandchildren Derek, Deliliah Cruz, Grant Liddle; fur grand-baby Eli; brother: Christopher Phair; sisters Dora Johnson and Rosemarie Johnson along with many many Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Nieces and Cousins who grew up like siblings.

Robert will be truly missed and the family thanks everyone who kept them all in their thoughts and prayers.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 7, at 11:00am at Lummi Nation Cemetery.
