Obituary

Robert (Bob) J. Clark, age 80, was called home to our Lord and Savior on Sunday September 5, 2021 after a short illness.

Bob was born in Bellingham, WA on August 8, 1941 and raised in Ferndale where he attended school until his junior year of high school. He then transferred to Bellingham High, and this is where he met the love of his life, Judy Maybee. Bob and Judy were married on August 12, 1961 and remained together for 60 years until his death.

Bob is survived by his wife Judy Clark, daughter Tracy Smith (Rusty Smith), son Mitch Clark (Tara Place), grandchildren Joshua George (Hilary Downing) and Jesseka Cummins (Corey Cummins), and great-grandchildren Brysen George and Dawson Cummins. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Claude and Martha Clark.

Bob’s family would like to say a special thank you to the wonderful staff at Eden Hospice. Their warmth and care will never be forgotten.

Bob will be laid to rest at Greenacres Memorial Park in Ferndale, WA.

A celebration of his life will be held at the Bellingham Ferry Terminal upstairs on Friday Sept. 24th from 3:30-6:30 P.M.

  1. Dear Clark family, I am very sorry for your loss. We were Ferndale, Class of 59, classmates and I treasured Bobby. He was fun, full of lots of good ideas for getting things stirred up and one of the cutest guys of our class. I am sure you will miss him terribly. God’s Blessings and comfort to all of you.

  2. Judy and family, I share your loss, in my book Bob was one of the good guys,
