Upon returning to the lower 48, he was assigned to Geiger Field in Spokane, Washington where the love of his life walked in one day to work as a teletype operator in the radio room with him.

They spent time in Spokane; Cold Bay, Alaska; and Aniak, Alaska before being assigned to Bellingham as an Air Traffic Control Specialist with his new employer, the FAA. 2. I am so sorry to hear of Bob passing away . He was so kind and gentle and I always enjoyed visiting with him when Carol came to the barn to see her horse . I will ask Father Jack to say special prayers for the family and will light a candle at Mass . May Bob enjoy flying in the clouds free and I know he will be a big help to God as he was such a big help down here on earth .
