Obituary

Robert A. Luther of Bellevue, WA passed away in his home in Bellevue, WA on February 21, 2013 at age 89. Robert was born to Alex and Olga Sloane in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on September 5, 1923. He was adopted by Blanton Luther in 1940.

He was very proud to be an American, and became a citizen of the United States on D-Day. Robert enjoyed being outdoors and particularly enjoyed fishing and playing golf.

After graduating from Bellingham High School in 1940, he attended the University of Washington and served in the US Army Air Corps from 1942-1945. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary McCallum and married DLile Luther in 1963.

Robert is survived by his wife, DLile Luther; son, Stevan Luther; daughter, Kristen Meyer; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
