Obituary

Richard Vernon George also know as mountain man ended his battle with cancer. His journey to the other side began March 26, 2024 at 6:18am. He had just turned 68 as of March 10th. His call home to the lord will be grieved by wife Lanei Williams, daughters Malene, and Cetasiye, grandchildren Richard, Cetasiye-Nakina, Malia, Pedro, Ariana, Ayasha, and Aessa and one great grandchild on way, among all of his younger siblings. The Nooksack siblings Elouise, Elaine, Lorraine, Leah, and Nadene, the tulalip siblings JD, Tony, and Nadine, and much more family and friends. He was a graduate of the Shelton Police Academy. He worked as a police officer. He was a fisherman and a cook among other things. He left many loved ones behind to be with love ones already passed. The family would like to announce his funeral or celebration of life will commence Monday, April 8th at 1pm at 2515 Sulwhanon Drive, Everson Washington 98247.
