Obituary
Richard Dee Dick Woods passed away on Monday, June 17, 2013. He was 73, born July 7, 1939 in Champaign-Urbana, IL to Ellis G. and Inez (Reed) Woods.
Dick served 2 tours of duty with the U.S. Navy in Vietnam. He loved fishing and boating, and was a cracker jack mechanic. He was a member of the Wheel & Keel Yacht Club, Moose Lodge, and American Legion Post #7. He retired from Georgia Pacific where he worked in maintenance and brick laying for 34 years.
Dick was an open and friendly man who never met a stranger. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife Janice; children, Jay (Sharon) Woods, Richard D. (Cheryl) Woods, Sheryl (Dan) Aughe, Tina Woods; 6 grandchildren; brothers Don Woods, Jack Woods, and 4 nieces.
A graveside service will be held Friday, June 21, at 1 PM, at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Moles Farewell Tributes-Bellingham

My sincere sympathies to Janice and family during this difficult time, the loss of someone that is so close is very difficult to bear. May you find comfort from the Bible in order to cope. At John chapter 5:28 & 29 we are promised that there will be a resurrection back to life in the future.
