Obituary

Rhonda Jean Willet, 63, of Bellingham, WA, passed away on April 3rd, 2024 with family by her side after a 3 year long battle with ovarian cancer.

Born on June 4, 1960, Rhonda was a beacon of joy and strength to all who knew her. She found happiness in spending cherished moments with her grandkids, cheering them on at their sporting events. She loved cooking, traveling, line dancing, and Zumba. Camping trips with friends and family were among her favorite pastimes, and she enjoyed walks along the beach.

Her legacy is not just in the memories we hold, but the strength and resilience she inspired within everyone who knew her. Her fighting spirit never wavered, even in her final days.

To know Rhonda was to love her. There wasn’t a stranger she didn’t like or a friend she didn’t cherish. Her infectious laughter had the power to light up any room, and her presence was truly one of a kind.

Rhonda will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. While we mourn her loss, we take comfort in the beautiful memories we shared and the impact she had on our lives.

She is survived by her husband, Guy Linderman, her children, Robert G Willet (Michelle), Brooke L Willet, step-children, Kolby Linderman (Jazzy), Jordyn Linderman, her grandkids, Brylee J Willet, Emma M Willet, Lane G Willet, Kyle Linderman, Emme Linderman, Lorelei Linderman, her mother, Patricia N Ludtke, stepfather Clarion Ludtke, siblings, Joanie Houghton (Dan), Richard Williams (LeeAnn), Debbie Reed Knudson (Jeff), Pamala Benjamin, David Ludtke, ex-husband, Michael R Whitfield, and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gregory L Willet, her father, John L Williams, and many more loved ones.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Whatcom Hospice House.

A celebration of Rhonda’s life will be held at the Deming Log Show Grounds on April 28th, 2024 at 2 pm. All who knew and loved her are invited to attend.
