Raymond H. Cadman, born on April 19th, 1934, to Wilbur and Irene Cadman in Walsenburg CO, peacefully departed this life in Bellingham WA on February 9th, 2024.

In 1961, he married his beloved wife, JoAnne. Together, they shared 38 years of cherished companionship and were blessed with three children, Ken, Kim, and Jodi. Raymond dedicated 33 years of his professional life to Intalco, serving as a dedicated foreman until his well-deserved retirement in 1996.

Raymond’s vibrant spirit endeared him to countless people. Outgoing, amiable, he embraced life with unwavering enthusiasm. An avid outdoorsman, he found joy in 4-wheeling, boating, and the open road, especially behind the wheel of his beloved white truck. His magnetic personality effortlessly forged bonds with all who crossed his path.

His family held a special place in Raymond’s heart, and he treasured every moment spent with them. His laughter resonated with warmth, and his hugs were unparalleled in their embrace. Road trips to reunite with loved ones, crabbing adventures, and leisurely days on the water epitomized his zest for life.

  1. Julie says:

I was Rays mail carrier for years. I so enjoyed talking to him when he was at the mailbox. RIP

  2. Ray and his family were very special friends and neighbors to us. First, Kim was in my second grade class at Silver Beach. She was a delightful student.
Then, we moved across the street from them and Ray and JoAnne
were my children’s daycare/babysitters. They had our son for four years and our daughter for three years.
It was very special for our daughter to be Jodi’s flower girl in her wedding.
Ray was always cheerful and involved in family and neighborhood activities. He would help everyone! We were fortunate to know him and his family.

  3. Ray was my brother-in-law, and I knew him since 1958. He was always full of life and fun. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and member of society. He will be missed by many. Rest in peace, Ray!
