Obituary
Pyari Tabitha Radiah
With much rejoicing, heavens doors opened wide to welcome their angel Pyari Tabitha Radiah back to her eternal home on Feb 07,2024.
Pyari was born in Kachwa, India to Anirudh and Pushpa Samuel in Nov 1930. She married Peter Radiah in May 1958, who preceded her in 2012. After his passing she came to live with her only daughter Ameeta, from Dec 2013. The one thought she constantly expressed was how safe she felt in our home and how happy she was here. That truly was an honor and a privilege for us.
Pyari was a People person. Very compassionate, witty and with a great sense of humor. Kindhearted to the core.
A nurse by profession, she was like Florence Nightingale to her patients. She loved to Knit, listen to music, listen to the news, read, but most of all loved meeting people. She had a curious mind, always wanting to know and learn and how she could help. Her most recent achievement was becoming a Naturalized US citizen at the age of 91.
In her last few days as I gave her hugs taking names of everyone, Not having spoken for nearly 4days she suddenly looked at me, smiled and said: I’m not a person easily forgotten!
An accomplished sitarist, we got to enjoy listening to her play, especially the songs from The Sound of Music. It was a big deal for me.
In every adversity, her deep-seated faith was her compass, and a favorite hymn was “Abide with Me.” She lived a very simple lifestyle, and she lived it with so much grace and dignity.
Even though we will miss her always, we take comfort that she is safe in the arms of Jesus.

Aunty was a beautiful person and I am so happy that I was able enjoy her company, support with her witty humor, candid conversations ending with a “God Bless you” . Aunty enjoyed the very simple things in life, loved people, no mention of her sweet tooth!! Strong woman!
