Obituary

Paul Moorman, of Bellingham WA, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2023 at age 85.  He was born to parents Henry and Olga Moorman in Winnebago Nebraska on April 8, 1938.

Paul served in the Navy from 1958 to 1962.  He worked at the Vancouver Veterans Hospital, first as a guard and then later in the Boiler Room, which he retired from in 1993.

Paul is survived by his wife of almost 49 years, Jolene, son Bill, daughter April (husband Tom), daughter Melissa (Missy), son Paul Jr, (wife Janna), stepdaughter Laura (husband Jesse), 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

The family thanks PeaceHealth/St. Joseph Medical Center staff for making his last days comfortable and calm.

Paul will be laid to rest at Greenacres Memorial Park, Tuesday 5.16.2023 with immediate family in attendance.  There will be a remembrance on Saturday 5.20.2023 for anyone who wishes to attend. Please contact Laura for more details. (425-260-8335, lldykshoorn@hotmail.com)
