Obituary

Patrick D. Lane, age 59, of Lummi, passed away on January 24, 2021. He was born on September 21, 1961 in Bellingham to Ernest Jr. and Terresse Lane.

He was a commercial fisherman. Patrick loved fishing, clamming, casino hopping, cribbage, and beachcombing for eagle feathers. Patrick’s family will remember the camping and fishing trips they took with him and being the best papa. He was a very happy, loving, and caring man who will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife Geneva; sons Patrick James, Joseph James, and Alberto Lane; daughters Sarah Burke and Kristina Burke-Hewett; daughter-in-law Jina James; sons-in-law Johnnie Hewett and Isaiah Morris; brothers Sonny Lane and David Pettigrew; brothers-in-law Steve Bell and Mark Bell; sisters-in-law Elaine Lane,  Angela Bell and Heidi Pettigrew; uncles Jack Lane and George Lane; aunt Mary Scarborough; 11 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Jumbo and Terri Lane; sister Lori Lane; nephew Ernest O. Lane and uncles Danny Porter and Pat Porter.
