Obituary
Patricia (Linderman) Hawkins was born March 17, 1918 and made her transition October 22, 2012. Patricia was preceded in death by her loving husband John; her parents Mary and Guy Linderman; loving Aunt Leea McRobb, and 10 brothers & sisters, Vern, Orrie, Hattie, Elaine, Lillian, Doris, Bill, Guy, Ken and Don.
Pat is survived by her children, Gay Hawkins & wife Ellen, Elaine Hawkins & wife Leslie Hecock; goddaughter Stacy Berndtson & husband Steve. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Kevin Hawkins & wife Bridgett, Jennifer Handly & husband Simon, Molly Berndtson and Riley Hawkins-Hecock; and numerous nieces & nephews.
A celebration of Patricia’s life will be Friday, October 26, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the chapel at Greenacres, 5700 Northwest Dr. in Ferndale, WA.
I would especially like to thank the staff at Louisa House for their loving and tender care of Mom. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Whatcom Humane Society.

Mom..we traveled on the road for a long, long time,, you were my confident, my caretaker, my wise advisor, my mother. I will miss you, God I will miss you My time with you was to short and too precious, you will be with me forever.

Please accept my condolences on the passing of Patricia. I did not know her personally but I understand the pain of losing a loved one. I would like to share two thoughts with you. The first is in John 5: 28,29 which talks about a resurrection of the dead and the second thought is from 1 Corinthians 15:26 which says that death is an enemy that will be brought to nothing. So sorry to hear about Aunt Pat. What a special lady. I have great memories of Aunt Pat , Aunt Dottie and Grandma Orrie. We have been blessed with a wonderful family. My prayers are with all of you…cousins afar. God Bless
