Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Pamela Jean Fisher Hubbard on March 7th, 2023, at the age of 70. Pam, a beloved grandmother, mother, sister, and friend, fought bravely against kidney disease for a long time
and eventually passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.

Pam was born on September 15th, 1952, in Bellingham, WA, to Duane and Bonita Fisher. She spent most of her life in Whatcom County and briefly lived in Walnut Creek, California. Throughout her life, Pam lived on her own terms, speaking her mind with clarity and conviction. Her greatest adventure was a several-month hitchhiking excursion to Tennessee in the mid-seventies with her best friend at
the time Karen.

Pam had a deep love for animals, especially cats, and was a gifted artist with a remarkable eye for finding treasures. She found beauty in almost everything and could transform anything into a work of art, whether it was a piece of driftwood from Birch Bay or a flea market find. Her favorite themes included roses, fairies, and anything with a Harley Davidson logo on it. Pam was a generous soul and always willing to help those she loved, even if it meant giving away her last dollar.

Pam was predeceased by her parents, Bonnie and Duane, her stepfather Robert Kness, her brothers Roger and Michael, and her ex-husband Ken Hubbard. She is survived by her sons, Jeff Fisher and David Hubbard, daughter Traci Wisdom, sisters Shelly Chahley, Norma Kness, Sandi Kness, and Brenda Causey, brothers Robert Kness Jr. and Greg Fisher, her grandchildren Zackary and Reese Hubbard, Aidan and Lucas Fisher, and Chyann and Seth Wisdom, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pam loved her entire family deeply and was grateful for the visits she received during her illness. Her last days were filled with reconciliation, joy, and laughter. Pam will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the beautiful pieces of art she created, the countless lives she touched, and the generosity and kindness she showed to all. Rest forever in peace, Pam.

  2. Pam definitely always kept it gangster in life as I’m sure she will in the afterlife. I am very happy that she came to the Lord in her days and beliefs. I see a little of you in Jeff and Dave, I never knew of their sister. But you were always quite the character , one of them cool mom’s that stayed young there her whole life. I pray you have gotten used to your new wings and you are with all the family that have gone before. Say hi to Ken and Bob and be happy and pain free. You got some good kids here that love ya and miss you and I’m sure you will always be watching over them and their familys. May God bless you Pam in every day and every way. Until we all meat again, see ya when I see ya.
