Obituary
Neil Coffelt Sr was called to the Happy Hunting Grounds Nov. 26, 2021 at 72 years of age. Neil was born in Antlers, Oklahoma on October 25, 1949. He was the 6th of 10 children born to Gladys and Tiny Coffelt.
As a boy he accompanied his dad working in logging camps, and the family moved quite often. While working at a gas station at the young age of 18 in Wyoming he met his future wife, Lissa. He later worked at a zinc mine in Colorado. In 1969 they moved to Whatcom County, WA. He was soon employed as a crane operator at Intalco Aluminum Corporation from where he retired after nearly 43 years.
Neil enjoyed gardening, working on anything with a motor, and spending time with his four children during the almost 50 years he lived in Custer, WA. He looked forward to going fishing, hunting, camping, and on long road trips. He loved all things nature and playing with his little dogs.
He is survived by his wife, Lissa of 53 years; daughters Tracey R Briggs (Wayne),Cindy L Coffelt; sons Robert D Coffelt (Jessica) ,Neil Coffelt Jr (Karen); granddaughters Alissa, Mackenzie Coffelt; grandsons Jesse, Taylor Briggs ,Jared and Justin Coffelt
Neil is Preceded in death by his granddaughter Cassidy Briggs.
There will be a Celebration of Life held on January 4, 2022 at 11 am at the family home where you can stop by to share some memories, say goodbye or share a meal.
