Obituary

Nannette Joyce Charles aka”biss”, age 47 passed away March 30, 2021, in Sedro Wooley, WA. Nannette was born July 16,1973 to Karlin Lorenz and Percy Jimmy. Nannette graduated from Mt Baker High School and went to work for Simplot Cannery later on. She also worked as a receptionist for The Nooksack Indian Tribe. Nannette was so full of love and laughter and had such a passion for her family that she was often looked to as a counselor. She had a close bond with her nieces and nephews that she was often referred to as a second mother. Always teasing, laughing, and joking, even in a serious moment, but that was who she was. She loved spending time with her family and would keep her hands busy with babysitting, and when she wasn’t babysitting, she was crocheting or at the casino. She was a teacher of many things and she will truly be missed. Nannette leaves behind her mother Karlin Lorenz; siblings; Norman, Maurice (Catherine) and Ashana. numerous, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, God children and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Percy Jimmy; grandparents Ben & Dorothy Charles, brother Nelson Jimmy and sisters Adrianne Lorenz and Kelly Lorenz. A prayer service will be held on Thursday, April 1, at 6:00pm at the family home. Funeral services will be also at the family home   on Friday, April 2, at 10:00am followed by burial in Goshen Cemetery.
