Obituary

Nancy Marie Petersen, age 78, passed away on April 20, 2013 in Bellingham, WA. She is preceded in death by her father, Ted McGinnis, mother, Marie Jackson Usitalo, step-mother, Audrey McGinnis, and step-father, Eino Usitalo. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Petersen of Bellingham, sons; Jeff (Stephanie) Starkenburg of Bellingham and Brent (Micki) Starkenberg of Big Lake, AK, daughter Jill (Tim) Vannice of Penticton, BC, sons-in-law; Craig Petersen of Concrete, WA and Chris (Michelle) Petersen of San Diego, CA, 9 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. Farewell Tribute Information

A memorial service and reception will be held on Friday April 26th at 11:00 AM in the chapel at Greenacres Memorial Park, 5700 Northwest Dr., Ferndale, WA.

  1. Dear Auntie Nancy thank you for the memories I will always have and cherish forever. You had a warmth about you that always made me feel welcomed and loved your spirit will live with all of those whose lives you have touched. You will always be a shining star in my sky. I will miss you always. Jeff, Jill and Brent and your families I wish you peace and comfort your mama/grandma was a strong beautiful woman whose laugh I will always hear when I think of her, I hope you do too. So sorry I cant be with you at her service but my thoughts will be. Love always, Wendy and family
