Obituary

Myrna Faye Barber, a long-time resident of Bellingham, Washington passed away peacefully at the age of 88 years at Brookdale Assisted Living Center on January 13^th, 2023.

Myrna was born to Wallace and Leona McClimans on August 24^th, 1934, in Sumas, WA and had one brother, Douglas.  Myrna is preceded in death by her husband Ronald Barber and Brother Douglas McClimans.  Myrna attended Fairhaven grade school and graduated from Bellingham High school in 1952.

Myrna is survived by her son Doug Barber and daughter Kathy Benthien (Ken), two grandchildren, Misty Anderson (Chris) and Cassie Weiss (Larry), five great-grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces.

Myrna is remembered by her family and friends for her loving smiles and gentle ways.  Myrna was always there for them no matter what. She was warm and loving to everyone she met and will be greatly missed.

The family graveside service will be on Friday January 27th at 10:00 am, at Greenacres Memorial Park. Memorial and remembrance will be held at Fountain Community Church at 2100 Broadway Street, Bellingham, at 1:00 pm.
