Monte L. Nieuwendorp, age 60, passed away on Thurs. Nov. 19, 2020. Monte was born June 18th, 1960 in Bellingham Washington and grew up in Whatcom County. He graduated from Meridian High School in 1980. He was a beloved Father, Grandfather, Brother, Nephew, Uncle, Son and Friend.

Monte worked for Sanitary Service Company for over 20 years. He was a lover of car shows, motorcycles, hot rods, and old school Rock n’ Roll. He was a member of the Mount Baker Motorcycle Club for years and had endless stories of Thursday nights spent at the racetrack with his kids. You could often find Monte in his shop toying with cars and listening to the radio.

  3. Monte, my fellow Elvis fan! You brightened my day when you walked into the office with that wonderful warm smile of yours. You always brought a smile to my face. I will always cherish the times when we met up at our Elvis impersonator shows. It was truly a blessing to have known you and had you as a friend. Warmest thoughts to your family. Debbie

Gratitude to have known Monte. A bright light to all who knew him. Always greeted with a bear hug and a smile. My favorite outings were a Tina Turner concert, gathering of friends at picnics and of course both our love for corvettes. Driving down Chuckanut to Edison was always fun. Monte made a difference in a lot of peoples lives just by being himself. Blessings to his family at this time. Pamela

I will miss seeing him around. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. Rest In Peace, Monte. You will never be forgotten.
