Obituary
Mitchell James Plancich, age 83, passed away on April 5, 2017 in Bellingham, WA. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Bayview Cemetery in Bellingham, Washington.
Mitchell J. Plancich graduated from Bellingham High in 1953, and grew up in the family fishing business, only leaving for several years to serve in the U.S. Army. Mitchell was the last owner of the fishing vessel, Hercules.
Mitchell is predeceased by his mother Mary Radisich Plancich, his father George Plancich, and his sister Vica Travers (Ruljanovich).
He is survived by his brother George A. Plancich (Marcia) of Bellingham, his niece Domena, and his nephews Anthony, Christopher, and Joseph.
The ones who loved Mitchell want to extend a special thank you to the staff and extended family at Alderwood Park Health and Rehabilitation Center, especially his special friend & caregiver Debbie DeGraffenreid.
